The Wilmot stop on the Road Tour was a special one thanks to its close proximity to our facility, just a few miles away. The entire display drew heavy attention from local racers, fans, and even family and friends who do not often get to interact with us at the track. It was especially rewarding to see IMCA Modified teams running our MD3 Plastic Side Panels and to hear their positive feedback on cost, ease of installation, and performance. Several more racers stopped by to learn about the panels and left impressed by their value. A highlight of the weekend was having Carl spend significant time in the booth sharing his deep product knowledge with anyone who would listen, including a hands-on lesson about our Avex Style Rivets and why they outperform others in the field. The event had a unique energy as more than 100 Five Star employees and their families enjoyed a night at the races together, watching the products they help create in action. A standout moment came in the form of a Street Stock AMC Hornet Station Wagon sporting an ’88 Monte Carlo Nose, proving racers will mount those noses on just about anything. My personal favorite moment was simply sitting in the grandstands surrounded by employees, friends, and family, taking in the races as a group. With this memorable local stop in the books, we now look ahead to the next WoOLMS event at Highland Speedway in Highland, Illinois.
