Trackside Recap with Dan Robinson
At Eldora’s World 100, the MD3 Evo2 DLM Nose dominated attention in both the pits and the tech line, with 99 of the 101 cars in attendance running it for its aero edge and durability. Racers also showed strong interest in MD3 Plastic Quarter Panels and Breakaway Spoilers, especially as the fast, high-line racing led to heavy damage in those areas. Dan Robinson connected with several key figures, including Mike Nuchols of Warrior Race Cars, who praised the toughness of the MD3 Spoiler after surviving a major crash with only minor damage, and Austin Kirkpatrick of AK Race Cars, who was able to quickly replace a spoiler thanks to parts being on hand. The World 100 stood out as dirt late model racing’s most prestigious event—its Daytona 500—highlighted by Tyler Erb’s special children’s hospital tribute graphics on MD3 panels and Ricky Thornton Jr. capturing his first World 100 victory in a Koehler Motorsports Longhorn equipped with MD3 products. Popular items like Five Star Bodies T-shirts, rivets, and MD3 Air Filter Shields once again sold out, reinforcing demand for restock ahead of the next stop, the WISSOTA 100 in Fergus Falls, MN.
