Trackside Recap with Dan Robinson
At the IMCA Super Nationals, our partnership with Harris Auto Racing/Terminator Race Cars drew major attention with a complete MD3 Camaro body giveaway, showcased all week in their booth next to ours.
The Camaro continues to prove itself nearly a year after launch, racers are still chasing its durability and performance edge. A hot topic among racers was demand for MD3 Plastic Body Panels for G-Body cars,
with feedback reinforcing the need for durable, easy-to-install parts that save time and money. We also introduced new MD3 Scuff Plates and saw strong interest in the MD3 Air Filter Shields, especially from open trailer teams.
Racer engagement was strong, highlighted by conversations with Damon Murty and Kyle Brown/Mark Elliott, who shared valuable input on the MD3 Camaro’s performance and future updates.
Murty showcased that performance by driving from 23rd to 1st in his preliminary feature and finishing 4th in the Big Dance. Racers appreciated Five Star being on-site to listen and engage directly, underscoring the value of showing up in person.
The massive 1,200-car field and logistical scale made this stop unlike any other. Looking ahead, restocking T-shirts, rivets, and Air Filter Shields will be key, and excitement is already building for the 55th World 100 at Eldora Speedway, Dan’s favorite event of the year.
