Five Star at the 2025 Dirt Late Model Dream
June 5–7, 2025 • Eldora Speedway • Rossburg, Ohio
What We Showcased
This stop was all about visibility and validation. Racers were especially drawn to the Complete MD3 Spoiler Kit, and we continued to see strong demand for Air Filter Shields and MD3 Evo 2 Lower Fenders.
While not all parts are legal in the Unified DLM rulebook, there was plenty of interest in left side DLM panels and Street Stock components from racers in other divisions.
We also gathered real-world feedback on the MD3 Cockpit Deflector Extension, working with racers like Corey Rothering to prep adjustments for testing at the upcoming Wilmot Summer Nationals.
Trackside Recap with Dan Robinson
What stood out at this stop?
The MD3 Spoiler Kit had a lot of buzz, and more racers are adopting plastic breakaways. Air Filter Shields also remain really popular.
What were racers asking about?
They’re always curious about what’s new—questions about chassis compatibility, interest in rolled-top Modified panels, and Street Stock gear.
Any standout racer conversations?
Austin Kirkpatrick from AK Race Cars. We talked spoilers, his business direction, and him becoming a dealer. He’s a sharp guy and always ahead of the curve.
How did teams respond to seeing products in person?
I usually go to them, but several teams stopped by looking for specific parts. Pit-walking fan traffic—many racers themselves—was solid.
What made this stop unique?
The scale. 90+ teams. $100k on the line. Brutal conditions. Our products were tested under pressure.
Any cool builds or uses of Five Star parts?
The DRT Chassis from Cody Sommer’s team had nearly every MD3 part we make. It was a fresh take on body design and performed great.
Favorite moment?
No question—Josh Rice winning the Friday night prelim. A blue-collar racer with a day job, and the fans gave him a huge ovation.
