Five Star Road Tour at the 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway

Trackside Recap with Dan Robinson

At the Knoxville 360 Nationals, Five Star brought its Sprint Car program into one of the most important environments in the sport, giving racers and teams an up-close look at the new trackside Sprint Car body display and the white Cup Carbon Fiber Composite Blend body. The new display drew significant attention throughout the weekend by presenting the body in a true race-car configuration, allowing customers to better understand the shape, fit, construction, and aerodynamic profile of the Five Star Sprint Car body. Teams asked detailed questions about chassis compatibility, including fitment on Eagle Chassis and other configurations, and the combination of Five Star's universal body design and detailed Body Installation Guide helped demonstrate how the system can be adapted across a wide range of Sprint Car platforms. Aero performance remained a major focus throughout the event as teams continue searching for small advantages in an increasingly competitive field, particularly at a high-speed, aero-dependent track like Knoxville. Dan Robinson spent considerable time with Jake and the Clauson-Marshall Racing team, who have supported the Five Star body since its debut on their car at PRI and continue to provide valuable feedback on airflow, engine cooling, and aerodynamic balance. Their continued development paid off again at Knoxville, where Tyler “Sunshine” Courtney drove the NOS Energy Drink No. 7BC to a Friday night victory before charging from fifth to third in Saturday's finale against a field of more than 100 cars. Courtney's victory carried even more meaning as it came on the 10th anniversary of Bryan Clauson's passing, creating an emotional moment for the Clauson-Marshall Racing organization and the entire Sprint Car community. Knoxville once again lived up to its reputation as the Sprint Car Capital of the World, with packed campgrounds, apparel vendors, race teams, golf carts, and fans creating an atmosphere unlike nearly any other stop on the Road Tour. With the 360 Nationals complete, Five Star remains at Knoxville for the 410 Nationals, where the display will transition from the Cup Carbon Fiber Composite Blend body to the Prepreg Carbon Fiber body to showcase the strength and extremely lightweight construction of Five Star's premier Sprint Car body configuration before the Road Tour turns its attention back to Eldora Speedway for the World 100.
