Trackside Recap with Dan Robinson
At our Highland stop, the Air Filter Shield drew a lot of attention from racers—especially those hauling with open trailers who usually resort to tying trash bags over their air cleaners. They loved how easy it was to slip the shield on with a bungy cord for simple, effective engine protection. Dennis Erb also debuted his new Rocket XR2 carrying both the MD3 Door and Quarter Panel on the right side, praising their durability while offering helpful feedback on how we could improve the door design further. UMP Modified racer Ray Bollinger stopped by to compliment the toughness of the MD3 Modified side panels and was excited to learn about our one-piece nose filler panel, which he plans to add to his program. With a prime location at the pit entrance, we had strong engagement with both fans and racers throughout the day. The on-track action at Highland’s paperclip-shaped bullring was just as memorable, long straightaways, tight corners, and a late-race rubbered-up bottom groove kept things intense, culminating in Tanner English and the Coltman Farms Team earning a well-deserved first WoOLMS win after a dry spell. Looking ahead, the team is excited to carry this momentum into the upcoming Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway.
