Trackside Recap with Dan Robinson
At this northern stop in Minnesota, the highlight wasn’t just one product—it was the chance to connect face-to-face with racers and dealers in a region we don’t get to visit often. With both the WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series and WISSOTA Late Models in action, the MD3 DLM Quarter Panel display drew attention from competitors eager to finally see and handle the panels in person, with many impressed enough to consider switching. Provenzino Race Cars’ Jeff Provenzino stopped by early in the week, praising the durability of MD3 doors and quarters on his two entered cars and crediting Hunt the Front for introducing him to many of our products, even down to the Five Star rivets. We also had valuable conversations with regional dealers who appreciated direct access to the manufacturer. A fun local twist was spotting the unique “Ice Castle” mobile ice fishing campers that packed the infield, a true sign of racing “up north.” Racers like Donny Schatz’s nieces, Laela and Amelia Eisenschenk, also shared their confidence in MD3’s durability. As always, Five Star shirts, rivets, and MD3 Air Filter Shields sold out quickly, reminding us to restock ahead of the next stop. Looking ahead, all eyes turn to Super DIRT Week in Oswego, NY—an electric event with history, huge car counts, and packed campgrounds, where we’re excited to support our NE Mod and Pro Stock customers.
