Five Star Fabricating was formed by Fran Prestay and Carl Schultz in the late 1970s in response to a need for innovative sheet metal products in stock car racing. The product line diversified and grew to include tough and durable thermoformed polypropylene, light weight hand-laid fiberglass and advanced composite race car body components, and durable vinyl graphics, quickly moving to the forefront of that industry.
After becoming an industry leader in formed windows from existing branded polycarbonate, Five Star's engineers devised improvements in composition and coatings that led to the development of our own superior line of polycarbonate, for a new standard in toughness, durability and weather resistance. No matter what your polycarbonate manufacturing needs, Five Star's polycarbonate is the most technologically advanced solution.
